The appointment can be made for today or a day in the future. You will have the opportunity to choose your preferred method of contact: video or phone.
2. Complete a short pre-visit questionnaire prior to your appointment.

WHAT WE CAN'T DO FOR YOU
Emergency care. If you think you have an emergency call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room
Covid-19 testing. We do NOT test for COVID-19. This testing is only available in person at designated sites. We can, however, provide screening and help direct you to testing or treatment centres if needed.
Controlled medications. We do NOT prescribe controlled medications including but not limited to opioids, benzodiazepines and stimulant ADHD medications
Disability/WSIB. Our doctors do not complete disability forms, life insurance forms, WSIB forms or similar
School forms/prolonged sick notes. Our doctors do not complete school forms or back date/provide sick notes longer than 1 week
Frequently asked questions
How much does the service cost?
Nothing. It is free with OHIP. If you don't have OHIP, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, we will provide our services free of charge to anyone in Ontario.
Can I get a prescription?
Yes. Prescriptions can be faxed to your local pharmacy.
Will I be able to access details of my visit?
OnlineWalkin.ca keeps a record of your visit in our electronic medical record. You may request a copy at any time.
Are appointments with a doctor or nurse?
All appointments are with licensed physicians in Ontario.
What device can I use?
A phone or any smart device with access to the internet. If you are using video conferencing, then you must have a working video camera and microphone. If you would like to talk via phone,then all you need is a phone.
What happens if I lose my internet connection during a video conference?
The doctor will call you on the phone number you provided during registration.
How do I cancel or reschedule my appointment?
Click the link in your confirmation email to easily reschedule or cancel your appointment. at any time. We do not charge cancellation fees because we understand that things happen.
